| Trans-Island introduced 50 Scania L113CRLs into their fleet in 1995, which was bodied with Walter Alexander Strider bodywork and featured underfloor airconditioners.
A further 15 examples was brought in the same year in 1996. These are the first buses in Trans-Island's fleet to feature zero-step boarding. These non-airconditioned examples are bodied by ELBO of Greece with Arianne bucket seats, both a first for the company. Following the company's transition to a fully air-conditioned fleet, they were later retrofitted with roof mounted Hispacold airconditioners in 2002. |
